After a successful online performance for Action on Disability early this month, which was called "engaging, fun and well researched" we are now working towards an in-person performance of Can You Save Jason? It will take place on 8th March at We are 336 in Brixton for Breaking out of the Bubble. We are reimagining the play, which is about Hate Crime and Mate Crime, to include scenes about cuckooing and harassment on public transport.
You may remember that we performed at The Lyric Hammersmith in June. Our play Unheard Voices was critically acclaimed. You can now watch a film of the performance by clicking here.
We have funding! Our Director has secured a grant from The General London Authority to finance our work for the next 18 months. We look forward to receiving the money and using it to propel us into the future. We are very grateful to the GLA in these times of crisis.
We at Ignite Me Workshop Theatre wish you a pleasant and hopefully restful festive season and we look forward to seeing you in 2023!
I was good doing it and I can’t wait to do it in person bryony
